THIS IS A BRAND NEW PAGE ON GRACEFUL AGONY

I am working hard at trying to create a writing portfolio and nothing is as powerful as public opinion 😉

If you would PLEASE do me a favor and send in your own review of this website in general or a specific article here at Graceful Agony, I will be posting your comments in this special “Review” section!

It can be as simple as “Great Job!” or “Very Informative” etc or as elaborate as a post of your own.. The floor is now YOURS, and you can give me whatever grade you choose 😉

Please include your name and a link to your own blog or website and a rating from 1-5 stars!!  I’d be MORE than happy to publish them here!!

Please send your review to gracefulagony@gmail.com

Thank you so VERY much for ALL of the support and encouragement.

I CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!!

  1. I can’t begin to convey to you how moved and touched I am by your website. I just started writing mine a short while ago and I thought that I was doing a pretty good job considering that I am a visual artist who works welding metal together. I was getting frustrated by the fact that I truly want to reach out and help people, to let them know that someone else cares and is having a tough time too, but I have not gotten one comment on my site. Not a single word. So I started looking around to see how it is done and I found your site. It takes my breath away. I can only hope to write as well as you some day, and I even thought for a moment that I should just quit. But no, I will not for we do share some things in common and that is the desire to help, to care, to share, to grow, to inspire, to be authentic and above all, to survive with grace and dignity. Thank you for your words.

  2. Finding your blog was a changing moment in my life. Your writing is inspiring on many levels and your empathy for others really shines thru. As a fellow “chronic” I can relate so well to you and how you feel and since becoming your cyber friend” I can feel your compassion as well. Your writing style is fun and easy to follow! I rate graceful agony a FIVE STARS out of five!!! It is by far my favorite blog to date and I can only aspire to become as great a writer and inspirer as Jolene!

  3. Jolene, you have made such a difference in my life , I don’t know how I stumbled upon your blog but I am so thankful I did. When I found out about other people suffering in the same way I didn’t feel alone anymore. I hadn’t known anyone that had the same pain, and more importantly, shared the same feelings that I had. As I once told you, you ARE the mother hen to all of us, with your compassion and love. Thanks for having this blog and for being my friend. I am a better person because of you. If five stars is the best, I rate you a 6!! You are not only great at writing but you have a great heart.

  4. I have only just discovered your blog and, two posts in, I am THRILLED to have the whole rest of your blog still awaiting me.

I have only been blogging since September, but I quickly realized that portraying my husband’s journey with chronic undertreated pain is my highest priority. I have chronic pain as well, but mine is under control and does not overshadow the rest of my life.

I am still learning how a blog and its different parts fit together, and I still don’t know how best to group all my pain posts together so they can be found together. Below is a link to a post I wrote recently in response to my husband’s year-long quest to find a pain doctor. We have had some desperate times this year.

If you get a chance to read my blog and have any thoughts on how to make it better, or how to reach more chronic pain patients, please let me know.

    Thanks so much.
