The Voices of Fibromyalgia is a fantastic article and accompanying slide-show that I found today in The New York Times, and I just wanted to pass along the link. If you have a few minutes, you really should click on the link, and listen to 6 people tell their personal journey through this way of life. It was really touching to put a voices and faces to this invisible disease… These people are from different age groups, from different walks of life – and live in different places, BUT they all share a common thread… Pain.
I stumbled on this article today while looking for something completely unrelated – go figure! It is funny how that happens sometimes.
It is definitely worth a few minutes of your time… I am positive that you will hear, see, or read something you can relate to in your own struggle with chronic pain.
And if there is someone in your life who doesn’t understand your illness, or what it is you go through every day, maybe this would be worth sharing with them?
Hugs and love to all of you…
