Making mistakes simply means you are learning faster. ~Weston H. Agor
I just read a really interesting article and thought I would share…
Here is a list of 13 mistakes that Fibromyalgia sufferers often make… Most seem like common sense, but I know I have made most of them!! What about you?
Msn.com Health 13 Mistakes Fibromyalgia Sufferers Make
I think one of the BIGGEST mistakes we can make is allowing our pain to control our movement… I have struggled with this in the past, and I am still a work in progress
When every movement brings intense pain, it is easy to just STOP moving… but it doesn’t solve the problem – it makes it WORSE.
Which of the 13 mistakes have you made, or do you make?

Here is another article you might find useful:
13 Conditions that Mimic Fibromyalgia
Have you had each of these conditions ruled out, or included in your diagnosis? I have been through a gamut of tests (to say the least), and although it is frustrating, it is CRUCIAL to your treatment… Do you have Fibromyalgia, or do you have something that is only mimicking it? Or maybe you have a combination of illnesses (as I do), but you have only been diagnosed with one… Having things ruled out (and ruled in) is KEY to proper treatment!!
I was scared out of my MIND when my doctor told me she wanted me tested for MS… but it made sense considering all my symptoms… Arthritis, Lupus, Auto-immune dysfunction, Lyme disease… you name it, I have been tested – but it has helped narrow down the ‘treatment’ field! If you have doubt about your current diagnosis PLEASE SPEAK WITH YOUR DOCTOR!

I use 7 out of 10 of these products… and although they don’t help get RID of the pain, they help me manage… and they are soothing too! Can you incorporate any of these into your daily life?
Just a little light reading when you have a few minutes
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!

You are very welcome
Lucy is sleeping, so I am FINALLY able to catch up on things here… holy high maintenance puppy! She is ADORABLE THOUGH.. so I think I’ll keep her
Hugs and lots of love hon.. are you hanging in?
Great article Jolene, and very informative. My favorite part was the drink recipes…I’m gonna be trying some of those!
Seriously, I need to follow some of that advice on the days I am having pain. I tend to curl up on a ball and hide.

Great post, Joleen. I only did 3 out of that first list. Guess I’m a little odd.
I loved the idea of calm, quiet music, and Enya is one of my faves! Might actually buy an CD. (almost said album! ha )
I hope you are feeling much better from that last episode.
Before you know it, your little puppy will be 2 and then they tend to settle down quite a bit!
Hey sweets….
If you are 3/15 then you are AWESOME! I have made a lot of those mistakes… but I hope to think I am no longer making them
I love Enya as well… I don’t make time to listen to relaxing music anymore… my life is just so hurried all the time with the puppy, and my 2 boys, and general life gets in the way… You have inspired me though today… I am going to find the time to make a play list on my Ipod. That would be a great way to fall asleep at night!
Lucy is a HANDFUL… holy terrible 2′s! LOL! But I cannot imagine my life without her… now if I could only stop her from biting…. sigh…
*great* reads, thank you for sharing!! glad Lucy is letting you get some online time again
~krismom
She BARELY lets me online… I have to hurry and get on each time she takes a nap… LOL… it is like having a newborn baby… except Lucy’s teeth are MUCH sharper…
Sheesh… I’ve dropped a few pounds since she came in to our lives… I wonder why?!?
HUGS! So good to see you here! I hope to get back into a regular blogging schedule… sorry for the gaps between posts!
